9:46 pm	My smiling inspiration is still missing from my life. Its getting harder to go day to day without having a sad sigh leave me. But, as hard as it is, it almost seems to be getting easier. I don't like the idea that I'm getting used to this situation, but I guess that means that life is moving on and I can live. I'm still sad that despite all the good things in life recently, there is still only me to rejoyce in them. What good things? I still have my job. My strained muscle is healing slowly but surely. My muse has her mind back on art again. I'm exploring more medias with art and I'm having fun with it. My confidence in myself is slowly growing more bit by bit. I'm learning to tell myself that I am loved by many people, not by the ones who walk away. My heart is mending itself piece by piece as the days go by. I have also managed to pull an A in all my classes for Spring semester. What makes me smile now-a-days? I have a rose garden. Yes, an actual rose garden.. and everyday I see one of those roses bloom, I smile and think about all that God has given me. I can stare at the sky and not be mad at Him, but be happy in all the majesty of His creations and what He has put in my life. My beautiful darling furry daughters make me laugh and smile everyday, from dawn till dawn. My mother is a big thing that makes me smile, without her I would have vanished. My friends that have stood by me and let me heal at my pace. Thank you. I still wish, I still dream, but I can't let those things hold me in the past. I know that the past is gone for that one... at least, thats what it seems like sometimes. I have to move with time, and not be stuck in a time capsule. I now try to look forward to what the future holds. What is it that the Fates have for me? What will the Graces put before me? What new outlook with the Muses put in me? I don't know... I'll just have to find out with each passing second of the clock and trust that a new door will open. (5 Comments |Comment on this)

9:40 pm	Hurt at work So here is the update. Last friday (April 9th) I was lifting a bag of dog food out of a cart to scan it and something in my left side went "pop" followed by a cold chill and the sudden need to vomit. After getting through the transaction, getting someone to cover the register, I went to the manager and started on the workers comp thing before mom got to the store to take me to the ER. Got there and was told that I had strained an abdominal muscle. (After of course having them run a pregnancy test... they thought it was a tubular pregnancy... obviously it came back negative.) Got the weekend off from work to get better. Went back to the ER monday because I was still hurting. Yep.. still the muscle.. more meds. Also... again a pregnancy test (negative) and a test for kidney stones (negative.) Got tuesday off from work. Got to work on wednesday... things were okay... sat at the register, it was slow enough that I didn't have to do too much. Thursday.. went to school, then went to work. Got sent home because of the overwhelming amount of pain. Today went to Concentra medical center via workers comp's suggestion, and saw another doctor. This one actually did some hands on test and said that I don't have an abdominal hernia, I need to take it easy... and due to the restrictions she put up for work... I get the weekend off... again.. because there really is NOTHING I can do at work along those restrictions. Started getting cabin fever.. so went out and went to garden centers around the area and bought two new roses. Yay! One that is KINDA a miniture rose/vine... something... its pretty! Got some lady bugs to hopefully help my poor aphid ridden honeysuckle at my parent's house. (Comment on this)

11:33 am	I'm still alive! I promise! Yes, I'm still alive! Things have just been massively busy lately. My car finally decided to try to die. So, we traded it in on a 2006 Chevy Cobalt with less than 38,000 miles on it! Things have been interesting at work. We have a store meeting coming up, needless to say.. I'm going to turn into a bitch and let ALL the cashiers have it. Including the other lead. I am not pleased with how the cashiers are doing, and they need to be reminded of their duties, of the procedures and protocols, and reminded that I am not their babysitter and that I do not appreciate having to clean up after them on projects. (Main issue... treats.) School is going well. Despite missing a lot of my math class, I'm able to keep up in class. Yay! My other two classes are going well. Forensic Psychology isn't too bad.. I'm at least showing up to this class more than I have before. I'm also on a personal mission to freak out the girls in my Criminalistics class... *evil grin* These girls are absolutely childish. They complained about having to write a basic report! Good grief.. just shut up and try. And they freaked out of a basic photo of a bullet wound. I'm on a mission to either get them to drop the class... or throw up. I'll take either or. SO! I'm planning on introducing the website Rotten.com *Evil laugh* (2 Comments |Comment on this)

10:19 pm	So apparently it takes losing the love of my life, my friends and co-workers trying to play matchmaker... and looking in a mirror quite a few times really hard to realize... Yes, I am cute. I am beautiful. I am sexy. And I am very intelligent. And I am bound and determined to be absolutely confident about myself and I'll be damned if I go out in a pity party thrown only for me with me in attendance. 11:22 pm	Christmas Presents! I was happy with this year! Besides the lack of sleep on christmas eve... christmas day was good. Mom made sausage balls in the morning ( absolutely yummy!) Then we opened presents... (the dogs got to their stocking first and raided it... it was funny) Mom and dad got me $100 gift card to walmart, a new calendar, pjs, a dvd collection of miazaki films, I got a new crucifix... boots... *trying to remember* Oh well.. point is.. I also got more money from the rest of the family along with a darth vader christmas bobble head figure, glasses and bowls for the kitchen, and some bath stuff! ^.^ Oh! And a very cute teddy bear! Last night I went to walmart... and spent $184 on new kitchen stuff! Yes... I'm serious. I got a new microwave (Cause I needed one), a steamer, a george foreman grill ($20), a knife set, three nonstick skillets/pans, plastic utensils to use on said pans, measuring cups, trash can... um... hangers, laundry stuff, actual trash bags that work... I am a happy camper! ^.^ (Comment on this)

11:11 pm	TMI I hate my gynocologist.... really I do. She denied my refill on birth control because she wants to see me. Great. Wonderful. She couldnt' have called me I don't know... A MONTH AGO and told me this? So instead of getting my BC TOMORROW when I'm SUPPOSE to be starting a new pack.. I get to wait till I see either her or my family doctor... Great....... Can we saw Katy is excited for the oncoming CYSTS!?! Grr... I hate that woman. Seriously.. if it was anything but for cysts... I wouldn't care. If it was birth control just for birth control... 1:06 pm	Mouse Balls This joke is as old as the hills, and was allegedly (for what it's worth) a memo that was sent around at IBM. Still pretty funny, though. (I don't know how they wrote this with a straight face. This apparently was a real memo sent at a computer company to its employees in all seriousness...This memo is from an unnamed computer company. It went to all field engineers about a computer peripheral problem. The author of this memo was quite serious. The engineers rolled on the floor! Especially note the last sentence) INSTRUCTIONS ON REPLACING MOUSE BALLS Mouse balls are now available as FRU (Field Replacement Unit). Therefore if a mouse fails to operate or should it perform erratically, it may need a ball replacement. Because of the delicate nature of this procedure, replacement of mouse balls should only be attempted by properly trained personnel. Before proceeding, determine the type of mouse balls by examining the underside of the mouse. Domestic balls will be larger and harder than foreign balls. Ball removal procedures differ depending upon the manufacture of the mouse. Foreign balls can be replaced using the pop-off method. Domestic balls are replaced by using the twist-off method. Mouse balls are not usually static-sensitive. However, excessive handling can result in sudden discharge. Upon completion of ball replacement, the mouse may be used immediately. It is recommended each replacer have a pair of spare balls for maintaining optimum customer satisfaction. Any customer missing his balls should contact the local personnel in charge of removing and replacing these necessary items. (Comment on this)

He gave the cashier the paper with his name and number on it and asked her to give it to me. *blinks* Holy shit.. I think this is the most guy attention I've had from customers my age range EVER! 8:40 pm	Date So I had fun! We did simple and casual... we went to Taco Cabana... and just ate and talked. Then after an hour or so... we moved to Starbucks and sat outside in the cold talking. (It was warmer outside then inside... ) Three to four hours passed by without us noticing. It was kind of nice to do that. 11:33 am	I have a date tomorrow! D and I are going to be spending most of the day together. *blush* Okay.. this guy is too good to be true!  He wants to meet up at the dog park near here so the puppies (his and mine) can play!  I have never heard a guy suggest something like this before!  Never have the puppies been included in anything!  This makes me very happy. Then he wants to go out to dinner and then he says coffee and tea at the harbor.  I have no idea what the harbor is.  A girl at work says its a very picture perfect place on a lake not far from here.  She says its a VERY romantic place to be. I have no idea how to handle this! Where is a girl friend when I need one!?!  And my female cousin is busy and won't be able to help me! I need help with clothes! What do I wear?!?  Make-up... neutral or what?!  *Falls over* Okay girls.. HELP! 1:46 pm	So on Saturday (my day off) I went up to the store to "help" our trainer M with something for one of her classes.  I was to be taking "action shots" for a "photo album" she was putting together.  Needless to say.. this was all a big rouse to get pictures of this absolutely adorably hot guy! After the class, I gave him my e-mail address and told him that if he wanted pictures of his puppy that I took during the class, I would be more than happy to send him some copies. Shortly after that... he gave me his number.... and an invite to hang out/ go out. *blinks and drools*  I was NOT expecting that... geez... I had been spendign the previous week trying to figure out how to get my number into his hands.... and he just HANDS me his number with no problems on his own! Then he started talking to me and I swear he was fishing for information.  He made a comment that I seem to ALWAYS be at the store... true.. I am.  Five nights a week.  Then I just slipped that I usually am off two days during the week.. and he made the comment of "your boyfriend must like that."  Was he fishing for details?  Ya'll tell me. I told him that I was actually single, that my ex had left me back in June.. "What? Someone left you?  Well his lose then.. someone elses wonderful gain." *blink* So... yeah.... and earlier today... I got a text.. "Hello Pretty Lady.  When do you have some free time week so I can see that beautiful smile again." Okay guys... I'm oblivious.... is he showing interest or what? 3:17 am	Things that go bump in the night So this morning around 1:15am... I was just settling down to get some sleep before school.  A few minutes after I had settled down, closed my eyes and was trying to drift off... *thump* I look at my door.  I'm sure I heard it from that direction.... maybe it was just a car passing by making the house rattle or something.. *thump, thump* The sound was a little closer.  I got out of bed and walked closer to my door... and the noises were definitely somewhere on the otherside of my closed bedroom door. I wound up sitting down... and called 911. The sounds were too numerous and consistant to not freak me out.  Not to mention that were getting louder and more frequent. While on the phone with the operator.. the sounds were getting closer.  This entire time up till now.. the dogs didn't react.... until I was shaking and scared enough that I got up to go hide in the closet.  Yes, I hid in the closet.  I'm not ashamed to say it.  About this time... the dogs started to bark... I was scared and shaking. When the operator said the officers were there... the dogs were really going at it.  I figured that the officers were knocking on the door.  I got up enough courage to go running from the bedroom and to the front door... no one.  I ran to the back door in the garage... NO ONE! Who were the dogs barking at???  The thought really scared me! I saw the officers across the street from me... and told the operator that.  She directed them to the right house.  There were FOUR patrol units!  Two officers from one car came to the house and had me stand outside with the dogs while they searched the entire house... they found nothing.  Another officer from another car searched the perimater of the house and found nothing.  The other two cars were going up and down the street looking for suspicious people... I don't know if they found anything...probably not. When I FINALLY got up the courage to go back to my room... light on EVERYWHERE... I could still hear the bumps!  Needless to say... I left the house very quickly and came to my parents house... where I now sit and type this. (3 Comments |Comment on this)

9:10 am	Car The car is back! Of course after dad paid 744.90 for it. So apparently from what I gather.. the belt snapped and thus caused a little bit of damage when it did.  Blah.  The 'Rents want me to get a new car.. only problem is that I can't afford a new car.  I can't even afford a used car.  I don't know with what money my parents think I'll be able to pay for a new/used car. In all honesty... even with the cheapest car, I'm gonna HAVE to move back home while I pay for it.  I can't pay for a car payment, electric, water, AND gas bills!  Much less adding the bills for Pan's vet, the food bills for the dogs and me, AND the gas for said "new" car!  I only get 36 hours a week on just barely over minimum wage!  How am I suppose to pay for everything?  I can't even get a credit card to help..... I CAN'T GET ONE! I've been denied a credit card because of my lack of credit.  Even though... thats why I'm trying to get a card... SO I CAN BUILD UP SOME! Blah.. this is a twisted world we live in. 4:13 pm	So the car is out of commision... AGAIN! On my way home from a toy show, the steering locked up like there was no power steering fluid, the battery light suddenly started flashing.. and then.. as I was trying to get off the road... the temp gage shot up! Blah.. waited two hours before I got the car towed. I'm beginning to think that this is the last leg of the car.. gonna hve to get a new one.... but I can't afford a car.. even a 2,000 used one. 11:59 am	Tests Once again I am reminded why I take tests well... I'm usually the first to finish. Today I had a test in Criminal Investigation... by the time the teacher finished handing out the test to the last student, I was handing in my test to him finished. 32 questions on scantron.  And I wasn't the first to get the test. Blah... sometimes I hate taking tests so fast... leaves me with too much free time between classes.  I walked out of the class at 9:40 (class started at 9:30, test handed out at 9:35).  My next class isn't until 12:30. I would have left the school to do something, but with all the construction around campus, any parking spot is coveted until you actually leave for the day.  Blah.  So here I sit on my butt in the computer lab typing away at the computer and being amused by the startled faces of those around me as I type.  Apparently, I type too damn fast and it startles those around me.  I do have to laugh about it sometimes.  I remember being onthe phone withe Jake at times and him stopping mid-sentence to listen to me type.  heh... 10:44 am	Yes, I know, its been a while since I last posted.  Here is the update from then... I still have the sinus infection going on, on third round of antibiotics, but these seem to be working.  Third round and a shot of cortizone in the hip (owwie....) Loss Prevention is coming back to the store on Wednesday to talk to EVERYONE... all I have to say is that if they try to accuse me of stealing, I'm going to laugh at them... and the more they push the issue, the more I'm going to laugh. At any rate, things are going well at the house.  Still seeing shadows moving around, still hearing things.  But nothing that bothers me tremendously. I'm also VERY excited! I manage to order off ebay the entire collection of Vampire Knight seasons 1 and 2 on dvd for only $27!!!! It finally showed up yesterday and I of course started watching it last night while I finished my math homework. (Stupid graphs.) School is going fairly well.  I haven't gone to my criminology class since the second week, but I at least do all the quizzes and tests and keep up with the class online (which the class mostly is anyway.)  I'm also doing fairly well in my other two criminal justice classes, of course pissing off Santiago, but thats nothing new. Oh.. for those who know about my Dad... got some good news.  Dad has actually been getting out every night and walking around the block! Thats a HUGE step for Dad... a really big step, but I'm glad he's doing it. Also, this weekend, Harry and Maria will be coming downt o visit for the weekend.  There is a convention in Plano, so they wanted to go see that. (2 Comments |Comment on this)

8:55 am	Stupid sinus infection   So yesterday I woke up feeling like crap.. had a massive headache that was obviously sinus related and it was messing with my stomach.  I was tired of this crap! Its been going on off and on for about a week! So I went to the doctor's office and was told I should have come in LAST week!  The doctor looked up my nose "Oh lord...." In my ears "Oh my god.."  and in my mouth.. "How are you still functioning?" Yeah... apparently my sinuses look TERRIBLE! SO I got put on zithromax AND mucinex D!  I'm still walking around after both of those... how? Not really sure.  BUT at least I dont' have the flu.  They went ahead and tested me for that just in case. But I'll tell you what... between those two drugs and the small storm we had last night... I slept REALLY well last night.  Woke up before my alarm went off and wasn't tired! I had absolutely no problem getting out of bed this morning and getting ready.  I still feel a little achey.. but meh.  Thats to be expected. (Comment on this)
